The addition of Bosworth Chor Edition to its distribution ensures Hal Leonard Europe continues to grow its catalogue of choral music and traditional German popular repertoire, whilst maintaining its leading position in the market. With arrangements of songs by artists such as Udo Lindenberg, Santiano, Unheilig, Sportfreunde Stiller, musical hits by ABBA and standards including ‘Griechischer Wein’ or ‘Blau blüht der Enzian’, Bosworth Chor Edition completes the catalogue of Bosworth Edition – the leading sheet music publisher of German pop and rock artists as well as best-selling music educational, instrumental and choral resources.music worldwide.

ABOUT BOSWORTH CHOR EDITION
Bosworth Chor Edition is part of Bosworth Music Publishing, which was founded in 1889 in Leipzig under the name Bosworth & Co. Over the years, and particularly from the mid-20th century when the publishing house moved to Cologne, the choral catalogue was expanded considerably, not least because of the good relationships between its management and international choral and vocal groups. The first choral work published was “Mein Vater war ein Wandersmann”, one of the all-time hits of German popular music. In addition to pop repertoire for choirs, Bosworth Chor Edition also offers an assortment of music for concert band, big bands, recorders, chamber orchestras as well as amateur and school orchestras.
In 2000, after the company was taken over by Music Sales Ltd., most of the Bosworth Music company moved to Berlin, with the exception of the choral publishing department which stayed in Cologne until 2017. Between 2017 and September 2020 the choral titles were distributed by Ancora Verlagsservice, and Bosworth Chor Edition has now been brought back together with Bosworth Edition again in Berlin, distributed by Hal Leonard Europe.
