Place of Work
This role is based at our Wigmore Street, London offices. You may be required to travel elsewhere on work related duties both in the UK and internationally
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategy to increase sales across Online Consumer channels in order to achieve UK and European sales budget objectives
- Drive Digital revenue growth initiatives, working with global Hal Leonard E-Commerce teams to ensure focus on improved synergy through multiple Digital and E-Commerce divisions
- Deliver technical improvements to consumer websites, working with IT team, and including user experience, navigation, customer data management and product data optimisation
- Manage Online Consumer marketing plan on a rolling quarterly basis, aligning promotional activity with European sales targets and across all local territories and product categories
- Manage Customer Support team covering all European Online Consumer channels to deliver first class service and optimise efficiencies to drive improved customer experience
- Oversee website traffic acquisition strategy across all Online Consumer channels including organic, PPC, paid media, affiliate and referral programmes
- Oversee Online Consumer marketing spend across paid media channels in line with budget
- Provide direct line management for Online consumer sales personnel including Online Sales & Marketing Manager and Customer Support Manager
- Provide weekly Online Consumer channel reporting against key sales performance indicators
- Pursue new Online Consumer sales channel opportunities in line with budget objectives
- Lead strategic channel development initiatives as agreed with European Sales Director
Skills and Qualification
- Experienced working within the online retail market, preferably in the music industry
- Proven success developing and executing e-commerce sales and marketing strategies
- Extensive skills and knowledge of e-commerce technologies, developments and analytics
- Strong leadership with experience both managing teams and executing large projects
- Track record of delivering results in fast paced, commercial environment
- Team player and strong ability to communicate at senior management level

Training
A training and development programme will be provided to enable you to deliver all job functions. Ongoing training and courses will be scheduled as appropriate.

Probationary Period
All new employees are subject to a probationary period of three months.

Remuneration
Remuneration will be commensurate with the level of experience and responsibility and is paid monthly. A basic salary plus a bonus programme will be offered to the successful applicant.
