HAL LEONARD EUROPE ATTEND MUSIC FOR YOUTH PROMS 2022
London, UK, 29 November 2022 – On Wednesday 16th November, the Hal Leonard Europe team was delighted to celebrate its ongoing partnership with the national music arts charity Music for Youth, attending the Music for Youth Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, London.
In 2022, Hal Leonard Europe was proud to support Music for Youth’s successful Music Mentors scheme. The mentors act as the eyes and ears of Music for Youth, feeding back on performances, and giving expert advice to groups. They play a crucial role in ensuring events and projects are supported and are a celebration of hard work and achievement at every level.
The Music for Youth Proms act as the culmination of all the work done by the charity during the year, giving young musicians the chance to perform at one of the world’s most iconic venues. Over 3,000 young musicians from across the country took part across the two nights. Full-scale symphony orchestras are showcased alongside jazz bands, chamber groups, R&B artists and singer-songwriters, culminating in a specially produced Massed Ensemble of over 400 musicians. The Proms play to Music for Youth’s key message: young people make great music.
“At Hal Leonard Europe, we share Music for Youth’s belief that every young person should have the chance to participate in high-quality musical activities, and that young people make great music. It was wonderful to attend this year’s Proms, and we look forward to continuing to grow our relationship.”
Oliver Winstone, Strategic Partnership & Education Manager, Hal Leonard Europe
